Hello, I’m Isabella Littleford, a seasoned fashion expert with a deep-rooted passion for exploring the crossroads of high fashion and daily wear.
Having spent more than ten years in fashion, I’ve had the privilege of refining my expertise in Paris, fashion’s epicenter and collaborating with some of the most visionary designers in the world. Those years gave me a clear lens for spotting luxury-level detail, forward-thinking design, and pieces that last. I’ve always been captivated by Golden Goose sneakers, a brand that perfectly combines a distressed, lived-in vibe with luxury-level build quality. Today, I’m offering my insights into several of the Superstar editions, exploring their design language, wearability, and wardrobe potential.
Whether you’re a die-hard sneaker collector or simply looking to inject a bit of chic into your wardrobe, I’m here to offer you expert insights with insights drawn from my years in the fashion trenches. Come with me as we unpack what sets these sneakers apart!
A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also had them long enough that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.
So I’m diving into a bunch of popular FAQs, as well as where you can find them on sale, in the sections below! Also, if you’re interested in more try-ons and reviews, have a scroll through my Abercrombie vs. Agolde jean shorts review, Goyard tote bag breakdown, and review of my Dudley Stephens fleece!
Where could someone find Golden Goose sneakers?
I grabbed mine from Cettire when they had a solid deal going on.
I ordered them on April 28th cheap golden goose and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was super fast which was a major plus
How expensive are they?
I picked them up for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.
You can expect to pay between $410 and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.
How does the sizing run?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up
Are they comfortable?
Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Stunning.
Would you recommend them?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
Best places to buy them cheaper?
Check out my list below. I had a 10/10 experience with GGoose.org, so I suggest them first.
- GGoose.org – my source for these kicks!
- Gilt – you can sign up for free!
- Vestiaire Collection – it also looks like they’re offering $50 off your APP first order of $150+ with code WELCOMEUS50
- The Real Real – an incredible source for new or barely worn Golden Goose shoes at fantastic prices
- Ebay – more amazing deals on lightly used pairs
- @likeabandit – she highlights plenty of GG deals on her Instagram stories, keep an eye out

How is the fit?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36. They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
How comfy are they?
They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since my feet get sweaty. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Also, they’re already broken-in so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.
Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
