Are they true to size?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up
Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good right away. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since my feet get sweaty. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Also, they’re already broken-in so your feet just get comfortable fast.
Do they hold up well?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also go with everything.
